            Sarasota Memorial Hospital is listed in U.S. News & World Report’s 2008 publication of America’s Best Hospitals for the fifth consecutive year.

            Florikan won first place in the overall business category of the Environmental Protection Agency 2008 Gulf Guardian Awards.

            Taylor Morrison Homes moved up 17 places to the 15th spot on Builder magazine’s 2007 Builder 100 list.

            Light Up Your Life donated $11,874 to the Ringling College of Art and Design’s capital expansion project.

            Molly C. Williams of WilsonMiller has been appointed to the School Board of Sarasota County citizen oversight committee for public school facility planning.

            Orion Bank has selected J.E. Charlotte Construction Corporation as the general contractor and Mullet’s Aluminum Products as the window installation contractor for its flagship branch in Marathon, Fla. Mullett’s Aluminum was selected by MacDill Air Force Base to provide an aluminum railing and gate system at the new Centcom Memorial.
